Privacy Policy

Overview

LumeKey is a browser extension for capturing keywords on supported search pages and generating local SEO and content briefs.

Data processed

LumeKey may process and locally store the searched keyword, URL and title of the page where the capture occurred, visible suggestions, result titles and questions, capture date and time, and extension settings.

How data is used

This data is used to display the extension widget, build the local keyword library, generate clusters, detect search intent, calculate a local opportunity score, create content briefs, and allow CSV export when requested by the user.

Storage

Data is stored locally in the browser through chrome.storage.local.

Third-party sharing

LumeKey does not sell, rent, or share personal data. The current version does not send captured keywords, URLs, or browsing data to proprietary servers or third-party services.

Third-party links

The extension and website may link to Buy Me a Coffee so users can support development. Opening that link takes the user to an external website operated by Buy Me a Coffee. The extension package does not load remote Buy Me a Coffee scripts.

Browser permissions

The extension uses Chrome permissions to access supported search pages, display the side panel, save data locally, export CSV files, and capture selected text through an explicit user action in the context menu.

User control

The user can disable automatic capture, hide the SERP widget, clear all saved captures, and export data as CSV.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the extension evolves. Relevant changes should be reflected on this page and in publication materials.
